Asia actually has/had quite a few female leaders, though. To name some, there are Aung San Suu Kyi for Myanmar,Yingluck Shinawatra for Thailand and Tsai Ing-wen for Taiwan if you consider it's a country.
Hillary has still gone farther in American politics than any other woman which makes the whole "It has nothing to do with being a woman" excuse funnier.
Old white male electors can't even vote for her and have to vote their conscience for the guy behind the Iraq WMD lie of all people. America may never get a female president tbh.
Oh wait nvm. They voted Powell in the hopes that GOP electors wouldn't vote Trump and Powell would be third contender and thus the house would vote him as POTUS. Tadaa
Because having the guy behind the Iraq war is still better than Trump.
