No, not at all. You misconstrued my statement. It's just that based on their track records, male country artists fade on the digital charts very quickly until very recently. I would be happy to be observing a shift in consumer trends, because some of this music is very good.

I think it was that Country awards show or whatever it was that sort of catapulted these songs to popularity. And country fans are probably the most dedicated so as Pop sales diminish we might be seeing more Country artists higher on the charts. Or maybe it's just a sudden trend. The charts are so unpredictable and random these days. lol.

I just realized that most of the #01 songs in Billboard this year are from girls, or have one girl featured on it.
Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Adele, Nayer and now Lauren Bennett.

the only exceptions are Bruno Mars (Grenade) and Wiz Khalifa (Black And Yellow), and those are only 5 weeks, and we are talking about 29 weeks

and considering the next #01 maybe Last Friday Night or Super Bass...
