It actually got decent radio spins on alternative radio.Of course other formats wouldn't play it. However, the world expected something different from Lana. They were not here for a guitar driven sound (something females were not successful in since a very long time now), they wanted pop or something like Blue Jeans.
She had the perfect build-up but the mess behind the scenes was too obvious and when you don't promote, you ain't gonna get huge success. The album did decent numbers after all.
Simple and we have moved on and she is still not promoting her work properly.
I'm gonna have to go to the store and pick up the CD.
