Message to the contestants:
I never read song explanations/inspirations that are sent with your lyrics. I think songs should be read WITHOUT the influence of the story behind the song, how personal it is, etc. etc. The message/meaning should come through in the lyrics, not in a paragraph of text that accompanies it. Some past seasons have forbidden contestants from sending explanations, but I believe you're allowed to this season (right TT?) so I just want to note this now so that if I write a critique that says something like, "I don't even understand what's happening in the bridge" you don't say, "But it was in my explanation!" OK, that's it!

Also, don't plagiarize Taylor Swift, watch the stressing of syllables, make sure your font matches your picture in your single covers and always, I repeat ALWAYS make sure your syllable count is coherent throughout your song.
