That's 36 songs confirmed for June 2014 so far. 4 more will be added to make it 40, including a song that will debut in the June 29th issue. There is a possibility that you guys will be able to choose one song to participate again, but we'll get to that after I have posted my final countdown for this month. In the mean time, if you don't know some of these songs, get acquainted before June 29th when I will most likely start the June edition of this game.
Hey guys. Last month I let you guys choose the 40th song to participate in my game. This will happen when I can't decide on which songs to play in my game. My main rule is to always make sure that any song that debuts within that month plays, as well as all the songs that were charting throughout the month that didn't retire or fall off. So after I got all those songs down, that left me with 3 available slots. I had room this time around for some retired songs to play one last time, and the songs that retired later in the month get dibs because they were on the countdown longer than songs that retired earlier in the month, and thus are more relevant to June than the earlier ones. So Drive by Miley Cyrus and Dark Horse by Katy Perry will join the game one last time. But that leaves me with only 39 songs.
On the June 15th countdown, a total of four songs retired. One of those songs already won in February (Find You by Zedd), so this decision has been cut down to three of those songs.
Please vote for one of the following songs to play in this game. Remember that all these songs have been retired, so it is their last chance to participate in this game unless they are eligible for the wildcard edition at the end of the year. So vote for the song you want to play THE MOST.
