I'm not the type of person who thinks an artist is only authentic if they write their own music, but she obviously has the talent (Bootylicious, Independent Women, Survivor, etc.) so she should use it. yea, i wish she would make more use of her writing abilities!
i think she had heavy involvement in writing the lyrics of Single Ladies, Run The World (Girls), Schoolin Life, etc. Songs like that, because they have such blunt lyrics that are reminiscent of the bluntness present in the songs she wrote by herself in Destiny's Child.
