Trump is more socioeconomically liberal than any other GOP candidate I can think of. He agrees with single payer healthcare, is against the war on drugs, seems to agree on the scientific consensus on climate change, against political corruption and against so called 'free trade' deals.
Either way I don't understand how anyone can vote for a conservative candidate.

What? Trump called global warming/climate change a hoax
several times.
As far as single payer goes,
he used to be for that. I rather have someone be inconsistent and change their mind to the
right decision i.e. Hillary Clinton than be right before and change it to the wrong decision, i.e. Donald Trump. Why would we care about what he
used to support if he is actively campaigning against it?
Trump has vigorously opposed Obamacare. He calls for a replacement but has yet to give any solid details. Likely, it will be "kiddycare" in order for it to get passed congress.
His tax plan is basically the same as Romney's and Bush's. It's not as conservative as Cruz or Huckabee's, but it still to the right of Hillary.
