MrPeanut posted that in the other thread and it's probably one of the best things she has ever done because it shows what she is truly about. She goes from performing an amazingly acoustic version of Eh Eh to playing ragtime piano to an amazing rendition of Poker Face to ****ing singing in French. This woman is a true artist.

That's because there's nothing offensive. I want Gaga to go back to the Fame in the sense that the songs don't appear to be vocally difficult. (but actually are) That's part of what made her performances during The Fame so great. They almost always almost sounded better than the album; therefore, she sounds much more impressive , especially compared to her contemporaries who record vocally "challenging " music but fail to deliver that live.

I love her vocal work, like on You and I, etc.

The best part of The Fame was the theme.

Her obssession, knowledge, and the study of FAME, pop culture, the light and dark side of it, etc.

I didn't mean that they didn't have to be in monotone.

But like with your example, when she performed You and I and used her head voice at the Grammy nominations and not the official version. Not saying that You and I sounds very bad on the album , but whole was better because she used her head voice.
