the k-pop thread is a great thread tbh, but i can see what you mean.
i got into k-pop around January but i didnt get into the thread until i wanted to be more committed to it (so around April).
it's best to take your time, figure out which groups.artists/music that suits you the best. the best way to really make an entrance is just say whichever group/songs your feeling the most. then, people will hopefully give you recommendations and it all goes from there. just don't overthink anything, be yourself & im sure they'll be glad (i know i would, the more the merrier) for you to be apart of the thread
