That's not what "erasing the gay struggle" means at all. It's a struggle that needs to be brought to the mainstream so we can fight against it. Saying the Pulse shooting was an "attack on all of us" sugarcoats it's homophobic and hating nature and erases the struggle. They weren't shot down because they were americans, it was because of their sexual orientation (because she shooter saw two men kissing and got angry). Britney's comment was very very very ignorant but she's dumb as a rock so I do believe it was innocent and not intentional.
