The pics of her new home studio.
It wouldn't be a big deal for any other fanbase, but we've been through so much ever since she created the Red Lips Room.

Make no mistake tho, I will always remain a loyal stan of our lady Legend. I've been one since 1999 (I was 14 lololol get your old jokes in now) and I've supported & defended her to so many through all the career highs and lows.
I just needed to vent. To be honest, I don't care about commercial success even tho it would be nice. She could pull J LO numbers on opening week and I'd still stan for her--just hoping the album is great quality and that she tours so I can spend my coins to see her live at least once!
I am glad she doesn't overuse social media to a messy degree like other pop girls!
Ps I had a dream this past weekend that X won the Grammy for Say Something! Let's hope it was a prophecy & that I was the chosen one to receive that gift! Heheh.

also adding to my old age a bit... I was 18 when Stripped came out and I felt like, at the time, it literally saved my life. I was gay, in the closet, going through my first breakup and had no one to talk to. Everything is always life or death at that age, and it was amplified given being in the closet. Stripped made me feel less alone and that someone out there truly got how I felt.
Plus stripped covers the entire gamut of human emotions. When I needed to wallow in despair after my breakup, I'd play Walk Away... When I needed to get angry, pick myself up and move on, I'd blast Fighter... Etc. Such a truly amazing album & a most pivotal one for me when I was coming of age.
Sorry for my essays lately!

I really hope we get some type of visual about the process of the album like writing , production, inspiration, recordings of her in the studio etc. Behind the scenes type thing will be GREAT!

The next album will probably bomb harder than Lotus, let's be honest. However, if she releases yet another awful album I am ready to "jump ship", will handle the OP to whoever buys me an iTunes US Card and I'll turn into a hater. And you now, there are no worse haters than those that were once stans.
Btw, the awards have been postponed until March.

No, Rolland. C'mon, stop with the negativity. And the era hasn't even started
This is Legend's last chance to be sucessful, and I'm sure she will. The media are talking about the ''Caviar Ratchet'', the last time the media talked about Legend's work was in the Bionic pre-era.

Mess. I don't think the next album will fare even worse than lotus. Lotus had 2 gold singles and sold almost as much as Bionic in the US with little to no promotion so when you look at it like that it wasn't that awful. If she actually promotes a little bit then I can see more gold singles and the album selling 350K+ which lbr is good for her currently.

Streaming will help her so much. Your Body, the song she NEVER properly performed, managed to get 120 million views with a radio sabotage. Christina has streaming power.
I don't really care about overall success. All I need is a good first week for the album and a top 15 placement for the lead single so that we can shut the pressed ones up just a biT. Other than that, as long as the era doesn't end before a proper third single, I'm fine with anything, as long as I have Legend's vocals and lyrics back in my life

yeah and the Your Body video was released before youtube views were added into songs positions on the hot 100 so it could've charted even higher than it originally did and that should help the next single. All I want is for the album to debut top 10 possibly even top 5 depending on when it's released, top 40 position for lead single and at least 3 singles with videos. Anything else is just a bonus.

I want a top 3 debut for the album though
Streaming is now also added to the Billboard 200, so if RCA uploads a lot of lyric videos during release week and if the lead single's video is doing well, we could do it. Plus, we have Spotify. I hope they're not stupid enough to not upload the album on Spotify

nn I'm trying to have lowered expectations so I won't be disappointed. Lotus debuted at number 7 but that was released in November which has more competition then Spring/Summer which is when I'm guessing the new album is coming so yeah it should have a better shot at top 5. Lyric videos would be great but I'm not holding my breath tbh

At least everything from 2010-2014 completely humbled us.
I too have very low expectations.

I'm not humbled by anything. I can proudly say Bionic and Lotus were ahead of their time, to be honest. They weren't so commercialized. You had to really be a music lover, be a true fan of music and the love of being open to really appreciate those records. They're just special pieces in Christina's body of work that will forever live on. The older the records get the more people will come to appreciate them actually and check them out.
