John Mayer and Katy Perry duet?

With John Mayer's album Paradise Valley soon to be released, it has been rumoured that Katy Perry will be featured on one of the tracks.

Katy Perry herself is also working on her new follow-up album to Teenage Dream.

The two of them dated for seven months before breaking off their romance earlier in the year. When they ended things, Perry claimed in a Vogue interview to still have feelings for Mayer.

"I still am madly in love with him," she said. "All I can say about that relationship is that he's got a beautiful mind. Beautiful mind, tortured soul. I do have to figure out why I am attracted to these broken birds."

It has been rumoured that they are back together after the couple was spotted at numerous events holding hands.

John Mayer's upcoming album Paradise Valley is set for an Aug 13 release.
