to me it IS a huge achievement since i am really exciting with the single, and finding out this song doing good on a radio make me so happy...

There is absolutely nothing wrong with that post, it IS #1 because of her crazy stans, and it ISN'T as much of as achievement as if it was solely based on the public.

Nope I just have an actual understanding of how the countdown works, If you'd ever seen if before you'd know that songs can be #1 one day and off the chart the next. It's very irratic, and that signifies that there aren't many votes on it so the chart has a quick turnover. I also saw the people on LD saying they had unlimited texts and that they'd been non stop texting for hours () so it's pretty easy to guess that they're the reason that the song has done so well on the countdown.

Aguilera's "Tonight" Connects With Radio Listeners

LOS ANGELES (Billboard) - Against the tribal house-inspired rhythms percolating throughout "Not Myself Tonight," Christina Aguilera issues a proclamation: "I'm doing things that I normally wouldn't do. The old me's gone. I feel brand new."

But gauging by radio's reaction to the lead single from "Bionic," Aguilera's first studio set in four years (which RCA will release June 8), the singer's hit-making instincts are intact.

"Not Myself Tonight" is the No. 1 most-added song at mainstream top 40 and rhythmic radio stations this week, according to Nielsen BDS. The song is poised to debut high next week on the Mainstream Top 40 chart.

Polow Da Don co-wrote the single with his singing/songwriting protegee Ester Dean. Polow -- whose production credits include Keri Hilson, Usher and Fergie -- also produced the track.

"This song was just me and Ester freestyling one day as another friend of mine was jumping and dancing around the studio," he says. "Christina's people reached out and asked if I had anything hot for her. I sent this, which happened to fit the fresh, different angle Christina told me she wanted to hit people with on this album."

As Aguilera notes in a message to fans on her Web site, "Bionic" "was put together to represent those different parts of myself. I chose to collaborate with a variety of artists and producers across different musical genres. I was able to explore and create a fresh, sexy feel using both electronic and organic elements."

"Bionic" also features the Grammy Award-winning singer collaborating with Sia, Christopher "Tricky" Stewart, Le Tigre, Hill & Switch and Ladytron. And she reunites with songwriter Linda Perry, who contributes the ballad "Lift Me Up." (Perry wrote the singles "Hurt" and "Candyman" from 2006 album "Back to Basics" and Aguilera's 2002 hit "Beautiful.")

In the midst of finishing up "Bionic," Aguilera recently completed her first film role, in the musical drama "Burlesque," which co-stars Cher. The movie is set to premiere this fall.

This is rising VERY fast on Pop! If she makes it into the top 20 with good gains then she's all good but As of now. .She's still not completely safe because Many songs with fast takeoff rates start approaching a brick wall once it reaches the mid 20s so it depends on what happens this coming week!

From what I've reading, this is what's called "rolling effect" or something like that... it usually happens on the 2nd week, but it's doing fine... next week should be better... it's doing good nonetheless.
