I mean. I was certain Tonight I'm Getting Over You (still her best single ever soz everybody!) would smash, but that tanked so I can never be completely certain, but I think her odds are decent.
I won't speculate beyond that. I'm just going to enjoy the song and not worry (even though her whole mainstream career pretty much hinges on this one song!!!).
Not sure about this... It doesn't sound like an obvious smash like CMM was.
CMM was not an obvious smash. It took months to take off. My first thought about it was hoping that Hot AC would play it and it would outpeak "Bucket", never thought Top 40 would even touch it.
I hope you guys don't expect it to go too high this week, or even stay too high. She doesn't have a huge stanbase and she's been gone for almost 3 years. Since the radio release is so late they are obviously going to try to make this grow over time.
