Not for this game. Maybe for stuff like Big Brother, Survivor and stuff with teams and challenges... but there's plenty of tournaments that don't even involve or require alliances.

I've been thinking long and hard about this game and the time it takes to get this game up and running.
I have decided to just now take the top 20 into the coming rounds and do a mini round for the people under the 20 to compete for the final 5 places, making it 25 contestants.
What you all are probably wondering is "Why wasn't this more thought/planned out if you couldn't handle this many users". For one I did not know what to expect when I decided to take on the role of host of this game, but this game most importantly intrigued me a lot so I wanted to do it for sure. What you all do not know is I have had a lot of free time in this summer, but the amount of time for me to get these results ready has taken hours upon hours literally. The reason for these past few days without an update of any sort was kind of a time for my inbox/me to catch my breath from the constant submissions and movement in my inbox.
I think it would be easier to manage 25 people in these coming rounds so I don't have to spend 8-10 hours preparing these results. I know its fun having this many contestants, but the amount of work involved in each task has been very time consuming indeed and eventually their had to be point where I drew the line and said I could truly not handle the amount of time I spend in putting these results together. Plus the errors are indeed starting to show up in the results every so often, mainly in part to the constant typing in notepad/excel and in doing it in a pace so I'm not at the computer for too too long.
With that said the top 20 (+ the #21 since genetic fail is banned) will be moving on in the game. Now what I will update is I have changed what will happen in the first part of the game which is a different way to compete in this game much like the Family Feud show does, guess the answers of those surveyed. More on that in a few days.
To make this more official, the following contestants will move to Round
Now from #22 to the last place person that isn't eliminated from this game will be participating in one last mini round to determine the final 5 to make it into the next 5 rounds of this game (possibly).
I will determine the top 5 based on their performance in this mini challenge and compare you rank in the mini challenge to that of your overall results you had up top round 5. The person with the highest average rank between the mini challenge and the overall scores will determine my top 5.
For example. If someone ranked 37 was the winner of the round (thus I would rank the #1 person #22 since we have our 21 who made it to the next round), I will take 37+22/2 = ___ and use __ to compare to the other contestants averages in this special mini round. The top 5 people with the smallest ____ will be in the future rounds, and the rest will be eliminated.

Again i apologize for going MIA and not really explaining why I have truly held off myself from this game. I also must apologize to being this "cut throat" in one round. I did state in the OP that I would have an elimination in this game, and this is one of them. I hope you all understand why I had to do this (in fact this happened to the last host, but i didn't want to just give up on this game quite yet).

You can just axe me. It's fine. Got swamped with work hours this week on top of the project which decides my fate of having my AA degree. A bit stressed and I won't make it anyway.
