Honestly I think that Day and Night were just weird translations or early working titles somehow, because they seem to have had prototype logos for Sun and Moon just like the new logos.

all i need for them to do is to include new starter types, like eg:

Steel - Rock - Fire

or

Fighting - Rock - Flying

or

Fighting - Dark - Psycho (with Psycho finally being able to attack Dark types, but have a weakness)

or

Fairy - Fighting - Steel

People have wanted this for well over a decade and it's never happened. I personally don't think it will happen.

Other than tides, I don't get why the moon legend has to be water.

Rock/Psychic or Rock/Fairy would be better IMO.

The sun should be Fire/Fairy or Fire/Psychic, whatever the moon one isn't.
