I know not all of them are quite horror films but I have them stashed aways with my other horrors
I watched those French movies in the last page. They're +
Any other French one I should watch ?
The most known are Matyrs,Frontier(s),High tension,Inside and Ils(Them).
There is a whole paragraph on Wikipedia associated to the new extreme french horror movies. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Fre..._French_horror
@Jaymz Yes you better get rid of 1408 such a terrible movie

I haven't seen High Tension or Inside... but I didn't really care much for Frontier(s) or Ils... Martyrs wasn't bad I guess
As for 1408... I was watching it thinking... when is the scary bit gonna happen.. I was waiting, and waiting.... and waiting and it just didn't happen
I'm about to watch Cold Prey (Fritt vilt), a 2006 Norwegian slasher film, directed by Roar Uthaug. This is the first time I see a film from Norway. I hope I get use to their language. The reason I will try this it's because it has received mostly positive reviews and was hailed as one of the best modern Norwegian horror movies.
The movie was shot at a top of Jotunheimen. Helicopters flew the 20 ton equipment to the top of the mountain where the temperature was below −25 degrees Celsius. It took 2 years to shoot the film and another 9 months for special effects and editing.
The IMDb score is freaking 6.3 (very rare for horror/slasher genre). The trailer looks fine. I'm curious, and I'm ready to be slayed.

Here are some trailers to a bunch of horror films that are coming out this year that look really good:
I'll add more as I find them... also I am aware that Intruders has already been released but it hasn't been released everywhere yet and I doubt a lot of people have heard of it and it actually looks pretty decent
