I've been emailing too, I hope something sticks. We're approximately 2,300 from my goal, and I've noticed that downloads have slowed down significantly, despite the earlier endorsements of Cassie herself and the major sites. Before, the downloads were much more steady -- I don't understand it.

I'm starting to think that all the Cassie stans/fans already downloaded it, so now we're trying for the GP. I hope the project hooks them in to downloading it, but I suppose I should first hope a prominent site actually features them...

About those BillBoard articles, you know what's worse? BillBoard reporting the original date for Cassie's album, September 18, 2007

Soooooo sorry to my fans… I’ve been M.I.A. on twitter for almost 2 weeks because I can’t access my account. Not to worry though lol… we’re working it out and I’ll be back up and running next week. I just have to say, the video compilation for my birthday was AMAAAAZING!!!! I love you guys so much and I’m making you a video blog tomorrow & guess what?? The Trying to be cool/The Boys mash-up was done really well. Dope N Diamonds is by far the best mixtape from this fan-made compilation, though I have to say I Never Knew is stunning too and I missed it there. But all in all, excellent work Lana Del Rey member.
