Some of the stuff I'm reading about this song have me so
tho. OK, if you're someone that doesn't agree with or like the use of the word ***** -- I get that. Fine. But, the dudes getting mad about this remind me of the same types getting mad over songs like No Scrubs and a good deal of DC/Bey's music going in on trife ass, ain't 'bout **** men.
She isn't talking about men that don't have money but are doing legitimate things to try to improve themselves and their situations, she's talking about the ones that don't and have their priorities all out of order (financing things they can't really afford, stealing etc.) trying to front as if they do. Plus it wasn't only broke men that she was addressing either, but people hear what they want to and hit dogs will holler every time.
