The **** are they doing with the editions? OK, if you don't want to give any normal bonus tracks to your Japanese fans (which is like your only big album buying stanbase left), OK. But why you make a Target edition with a new cover if it is going to include only RNR remix? This is like the most dumb thing I've ever seen.
No one cares about funified poster or an over-priced bearshark (or wtf it is).
We really waited years for a 46 minutes long album?

The snippets:
Sippin on Sunshine Not only it is not a summer anymore, this track is really bad and joins the HTNGU club. Who should we blame? Jacob Ke$hier or Martin Johnson? I guess both. I am not even planning to listen to the whole song.

Give You What You Like.......Well it is definitely not a single material but I could end up liking it, probably a grower. Did not impress me that much.

Let Me Go.........the best of them so far. It sounds nice.

I am excited for the rest (except BS and Hello Kitty) but I feel like the album is already my least favorite from Avril.

GYWYL will probably be released as the third single and tank. But had she released it earlier this year when the media was slightly interested in her personal life, and she had released a raw, personal video blah blah blah it would have gone top 15.

You can drag Avril but you can't drag any of the three leaks.

I mean "Heyyy! What a beautiful day!"
When have you seen Avril wrote a perfectly structured song where every verse perfectly rhymes and doesn't repeat a word? Yeah right! NEVAA! And she haven't because Chad wrote that the same way The Matrix wrote Anything But Ordinary.

Give You What You Like is siiick! That lazy low vocals is everything. A huge departure from her squeaky TBDT vocals or her recent Martinized vocals. Indie Avril is gonna slay (if not the charts, her career) It's not like this era is on a cloud 9. Every single song can be a single by this point.

Let Me Go is promising. I can see her doing some crazy belting on the bridge ala Innocence so I better stay tuned. BUT Chad cannot ruin this all up. He better deliver!


That's about it. EPIC is EPIC. That stuffed toy and paint brushed Target edition is here with us to stay.


I'm just thinking that EPIC is holding back so many songs to rush release an Avril Lavigne: Part II Batchez!!!. You know. I'm delusional so that's probably not gonna happen.

I really like to read your words sometimes, your opinion is really valid and stuff... but you're so negative about Avril. Since the start of the era you're acting like a hater, criticizing every single thing she does. Damn, it's getting annoying, bro. If you don't like her anymore, just let it go.

Sippin on Sunshine sounds like something Selena Gomez would reject because it's too basic even for her to be honest.

Also I thought about this and came to the conclusion that Avril would probably flop even with a good record label because she did not upgrade her sound. She just lost the track with how current music industry runs & still sounds the same. It may be good for her fans but she ain't going anywhere with it. She really TRIED to catch a hit with HTNGU but that **** dated, just like Sippin on Sunshine, RNR or 17.

I would like to know what was the inspiration for her new album...has she answered that question in any of her interviews?
She still talks only about the recording process & how the album is all over the place but I would like to know what was the primar inspiration for the album, now that she is so "free" in Epic.

Like what do the songs she pick on the tracklist mean to her?

she's said that she just wanted to create, without any goals from the beginning. She also said how she challenged herself by having variety theme-wise.
