Am I the only person here who does not think Nicole is funny?

I think that as long as she releases music as a solo artist (despite everything that you've mentioned) as she has been doing (although not as frequently as some would like), then she is on the right track, and going back to the Dolls (if that were ever an option) would be regressing.
I'm not saying she should suddenly drop her plans to release another solo album and a US release, but I don't think there's anything wrong with a PCD reunion happening. It would probably help with her solo career too since there's much more general interest in PCD than in Nicole alone.

The only reason I personally want a PCD reunion is to close the book for good. People from the general public still anticipate PCD. I would like a full force reunion with one last albu, Greatest Hits and one last goodbye tour. But I also would be satisfied with a Spice Girls or Girls Aloud kind of reunion and that would be just a Greatest Hits, one to a few new singles and maybe a possible small tour, t close the book for good. That wouldn't be regression for Nicole at all, it also wasn't regression for Beyoncé to do Destiny;s fullfilled and #1's and then close the book for major releases.
I don't want a reunion at this point though, but in 3 to 5 years would be reasonable and Nicole would have enough time to still try to stabalise, since if she is still t this point of her 40s, I don't see any benefit anymore tbh.
I think five years is way too late for a reunion. Nicole will be 40 then and most people will have forgotten about PCD. At least now some people still remember "When I Grow Up" and "Jai Ho".

What magazine is this? You should make a separate thread.

I think it's best to release the second album by the end of this year or the beginning of next using X Factor as the platform for the first single and even the album release. I'm hoping for a US release too, but not counting on it. If a PCD reunion ever happens, it should be soon. Nicole said she's not against it and Robin definitely wants one.

She should pull a Kelly Rowland/Ciara with her new album. Both ladies focused on the US as primary basis (Nicole on the Uk in this case), but released their singles and albums worldwide, it may not chart everywhere on the top, but she will have a US debut!

In my opinion, Nicole is an international success (although I do think that there is more to be achieved), in terms of global recognition...'X-Factor' UK judge; headlined the festival at Astana; as well as the GQ China's Men of the Year Awards and the show at the Twin Towers in Malaysia; the massive amount of fans that she has in Brazil; her album, not to mention songs that weren't even singles, charting in African, Eastern European, and Asian countries; "Right There" reaching the top 10 in Australia. I believe that these things speak volumes about Nicole's being recognized on a global scale. People all around the world, in my opinion, now want Nicole Scherzinger as a solo act, not as the leader of the Pussycat Dolls.
But it doesn't end there...the work isn't done. The US has not been completely won over, which is why I believe a return to the PCD would be regressing. Beyonce's (and someone such as Fergie) circumstances are completely different than Nicole's.

I don't get why they didn't do it for Killer Love. I doubt it costs a lot of money to just upload songs onto iTunes.
Also, I hate HNIN being mentioned on every page, but I wouldn't mind if they randomly put it up on iTunes in the future. Dream (a Diddy girl band from the early 2000s) had their second album canceled in 2003 and they disbanded, but the second album was put up on online retailers two years later.
all fans would be happy, I mean Killer Love really lost momentum because of all the releases on different times around the globe. Singles got spread here and there, videos got send to music channels, but pulled down, because the label never pushed certain singles in other countries.
I mean I doubt it would cost Interscope that much, she has showed enough potential WW, just not US.

Something like that wuld be perfect for HNIN, or just stream it through her website, I think all those leaks have cost enough already and all those shelved tracks aswell

It just made me think about her twitter chats lol, we got so many uninteresting questions there like "what's your favourite animal" and stuff

You're exaggerating Nicole's global status. Making international appearances does mean she's a big star in those places. I posted about her performance at GQ China's Men of the Year Awards and a member here confirmed that she's not known there. Nicole has also made the cover of Maxim India and she's not really a big deal there either. I'm sure it's the same in other Asian countries Nicole has performed in like Malaysia, Kazakhstan and the UAE.

Yeah you're right
OMG I called Universal every month because I wanted to know when they're going to release Killer Love here
It took them 6 damn months to get it out. I mean...

I am still frustrated by that honestly, even though I was luckier than you.
Poison was released here through ITunes but never released officially, so no videoplays or radioplays, DHYB was released here, became top 30, Killer Love (album) got released here, did okay under circumstances, Right There was a big flop, but TV and radio never touched it, Wet was randomly released on musicchannels, some radio stations played it, but pulled it down quickly.
Same story for TWM, but I guess that was because only the UK and Ireland got the repacked KL.

The only song that charted in Germany was Right There but it was affected by an old rule: sales before the official release date (as a real single) didn't count for the charts. So the weeks it was in the Top 50 were useless and in the end it debuted and peaked at #61
Glad they got rid of that stupid rule. So her next single will have a better chance. If they ever will release another one

I am not going to go by an ATRL member's statement, whoever they may be, as many are biased on here, and plus, one person does not represent all. I am also not exaggerating anything. All I was saying is that there is a fair amount of people around the world who are familiar with Nicole. If she wasn't known or was irrelevant in India, then I don't understand why she would be on the cover of their Maxim. And if she wasn't known in Malaysia, Kazakhstan, UAE, and even China, then I don't think that the organizers would have invited her to be on their roster for the events. I never said that she was a big star in those places. But, she is apparently recognized in those places, and to me, that is an accomplishment. She may not be the biggest star in the world and in those aforementioned territories, but she is still well-known enough to have been apart of these events/projects. That is all that I was getting at. That's just my way of thinking though. But, I respect your thought process.

Got to agree with this. There wouldnt be much point in inviting Nicole places if people hadnt heard of her and of course the people who invited her to do cover shoots or performances have obv heard of her, dont forget how many places PCD travelled too so that must have had an impact also.
I think its great that even now she is still getting to travel to foreign countries and still gets to perform there. That says alot of what people think about Nicole.

The Chinese member who responded to my post wasn't a Nicole basher; he just pointed that she's not really known in the country because I called her a "global queen" making it seem as if she was a big name there when she's not. Of course there are a lot of people across the globe who recognize Nicole; PCD had success all the world so it's natural, but that doesn't mean she's well-known and being invited to an event or having an old picture reprinted on a men's magazine cover doesn't contradict that. Gemma Ward was the first cover girl of Vogue in China and India, but she is not known in either country. Cher Lloyd just headlined an event in Brazil, but she's not a big name there as evidenced by her inability to draw an audience. Keep in mind that getting a western celebrity, no matter her level of fame, is a big deal in many parts of the world.
By the way, Priyanka Chopra was named the face of NFL's 2013-14 season and also its headlining act. Nicole even gave her a shout out during some interview. Do you guys know who she is? Exactly. She is not some recognizable face or well-known in the US like some of her delusional fans want to believe.

I know who she is because of you :banana8: I would think that she was chosen for that because she was/is trying to break the US market, not so much because she is known here
And in the case of Gemma Ward, I think that the circumstances are different for models. I was under the impression that models are on the covers of magazines and do ads wherever, regardless of their popularity in that particular territory (hence all of the Abercrombie models whose names I don't know, lol). That's how it seems to me anyway, lol.
