This is already an unorthodox record that fits more for the Summer, I think it can be a late late bloomer to be quite honest with some promotion, I hated Shakira's parts and the chorus prior but the video changed my mind. I can't get enough of the song!
The delusional part of my own self is really expecting this to be Rihanna´s usual weekend freeze and that the song is going to start slaying from Monday-Friday again, and the other part assumes the reality that this song is going nowhere without the promo Shakira doesnt seem interested to do

I agree. I think this song will be kinda stable in the 20s and 30 on iTunes until Spring... a performance at the BBMA could send it into the top 10. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. For now it has streaming on its side, if radio picks it up I should soar.
GP is not here for the song. Of course the video is gonna be streamed because who doesn't wanna watch 2 most sexy women together....but yeah. I hope it at least goes top 10 thanks to new BB streaming rules.

Hopefully the response to the video will boost radio airplay. This is still an example of a single that could be very easily promoted with great success and yet has received fairly minimal promo.
