The vast majority of ATRL will only support something if it's successful and easy to bandwagon. It isn't just ARTPOP where this has shown to be symptomatic. I mean, look how Bangerz was->is playing out.
Like I ain't Gaga stan #1 but I don't like or dislike the music any more or any less based on red updates on Kworb's US iTunes chart.
Gaga's had such a violently spiraling decline here for just that reason.
