Releasing a song like Just Dance is a double-edged sword.
On the plus side, you know that its going to sell well and do well on the charts due to its fairly universal nature. On the down side, you know that it's not going to be exactly memorable in the long run.
Born This Way wasn't nearly as commercial as Just Dance was, but it's unique nature and how different it is from other smash hits will, I think, separate it from other songs in the long run.
