Am I the only one that will be perfectly content if K-Pop never crosses into the US market? I mean, if my faves are going to try it, then I'll feel obligated to support them. But I'd rather they didn't.

I know what do u feel. Because I'm kind of torn too. It would be cool seeing them on Billboard or tv etc... But from other side, I'm worried about them being classified as similar to justin bieber etc.
Maybe it's selfish, but idk..I just feel like semi-hiding k-pop from all those people who still doesn't know it. I want them to do what they do best, music...with their own quality. I'm worried a bit that US market would "break"/louse up their quality.

I'm starting to feel this way. I'd be perfectly fine with KPop staying in Korea, it puts so much pressure on them at such a young age. Plus, I'm sure they'll be labeled and stereotyped. I'm not here for that.

This. Its been tried so many times before & everybody failed and SNSD, 2NE1, BIG BANG, WG, U-KISS,etc. isn't gonna change that IMO

But if they wanna come over, flop & give me some new English jams thats fine with me too

Nothing on TV in my mind, but she had a tour on many festivals and Gay Prides, she also had a worldwide concert on Youtube and nothing after that, only her MV served as promo.
