How is she going to rehearse for countless hours, record songs, perfect her acting shops, learn scenarios, promote her mother's clothing line, promote her perfumes, work to maintain her record company, find new talents to sign, mentor theses new talents, promote her husband's artists, reps Obama, be a full time wife, follow her husband on his WW tours and trips, be a full time mother for Blue meaning taking care of her almost every day and then also endorse all the complexity of managing a career like hers. She is not superhuman, she can't do it all.

She has been working too much for too long, it's time she takes time to be a mother and let others help her. She needs to find a manager who will be completely loyal to her and will work hard so she just has to focus on being a singer/actress/mother/wife/CEO of her company and etc.

I don't believe any of her fans want her to "kill herself" overworking. This is what she wants to do. And I'm almost positive she's not doing all this by herself. Not when there are so many rumours about her and that Faisel guy from Live Nation working together.

Y'all need to stop this mess about a manager and Mathew.
She ain't hiring mathew's ass back. For right now her only father is Jesus. She don't know no Mathew.
She is her own manager so she don't need one. This was her first time , she made mistakes and she learned from them. Besides it's not like she doesn't have any help or anything.
Next era she will slay us all.
Just get ready for that instead of complaining about this era or her lack in managing skills.
5 will murder the entire game.

Just like Rocktheboat you missed my point completely.
Does that person help her with raising Blue?
Does that person or Parkwook make the trips instead of her to see Jay on tours?
Is that person committed to Jay and working at being a good wife for him?
Is that person learning Epic's lines and A Star Is Born's scenario right now, is that person working on how to act in A Star Is Born?
Is that person going to fly the country after a concert to go promote Tina's clothing line like she did during IASF era?
Is that person going to record the songs on her 5th album?
Is that person going to be the one making the arrangements? The harmonies?
Is that person going to take vocal lessons to perfect Bey even more?
Is that person going to spend nights and days learning choregraphies for the videos of the era?
Is that person going to be physically present to replace Bey for the shouting of those videos?
Is that person going to rehearse the songs and dance moves for live performances?
Is that person going to travel the world doing interviews for her?
Is that person going to rehearse 2 months non stop to prepare a tour?
And finally is that person going to be on stage instead of her every night for 1.5 hours and then go back take care of Blue? And now she even edit and make her own tour DVDs!!!
My quarrel with her being her own manager has nothing to do with success or the mistakes she did previously. I just think it's too much work for one being.

If she feels like she can do all of those things, then why should we question her? People have done much more difficult things.
And of course that guy isn't gonna do all those things. It's not his job to take care of Blue and go to Jay's tours, etc.

I forgot that's our motto, I'm not questioning her, I'm just wishing she won't manage herself and explaining why, it's not like she can read what I am writing. And not to push any buttons but give me an example of an entertainer who does more than that/Bey.

Idk. I don't follow anyone else but her. But I wasn't limiting my statement to just entertainers. I feel like if you set your mind to something, it can be done. That's how people become successful. I'm sure she knows it won't be easy, but that's ok because she's not afraid of failure and she likes pushing her boundaries. And if being her own manager doesn't work out then she can always hire a new one.

She also needs to fire Melina because whenever she is accused of "stealing" Melina is 98% of the time the creative director/choreographer. She needs to also hire someone to help Frank Gaston cause he is not keeping it fresh. These small things could go a long way.
|
She already has people helping Frank. She has multiple choreographers. I guess it's the style thats gettin stale. Most of the choreo from last era bar RTW of course looked like rehash. I think she should try non-conventional choreographers like a European, Asian, African. Now she'll able to move more. Her pregnancy got in d way last year

Pls STOP. no superstar of Beyonce's calibre should be managing themself. It's a full-time job in itself. She's already hands-on the artistic aspect of her brand, a pro should be handling the managerial bit. Bey should be focusing killing the stage not booking the stage.

I only list the things that Bey effectively does herself. I think you guys always think we saying she should work less make us somehow less of fans than you are. Bey is just a human being, it's not about intelligence or stupidity.
Can Bey manage a career? yes, she can, she can even be excellent at it if she didn't already have so many other things to do.
Whatever anyway, let's just let her kill herself at work just because she thinks she can do it all. All she needs are "yes" people anyway.
|
This was so not needed. Like I never even said that like c'mon now.
And the thing is y'all keep complaining about Beyoncé needing a manager and **** but that won't happen. WHY? Because Beyoncé herself wants to ****ing do it on her own damn self with her team. You're basically saying she's stupid and should have a manager because according to YOU she can't do all of that. When YOU don't know **** and like I said before. NEITHER DO I. Beyoncé DOES so stop complaining, she knows what she's doing.

Well if you don't like it why not call Beyoncé if you know it so much better than herself?

She still needs a managerial figure head. She'd still have the final say in that scenario too. Parkwood is not a management company.

Lee Anne Callahan-Longo, the woman who co-managed her with Mathew, is General Manager at Parkwood. Beyonce has always had the final word, the difference is now she gets all of the blame too.

i think if Beyoncé did get a manager she still would like to know the aspects of every little thing that goes on so while it would be a little help & take some weight off her shoulders, she'd essentially be paying someone to do something she'd have to double check anyway.
it's like how she has Frank & Kim do the choreo & stage direction for her tours but she's still there standing next to them telling them what she wants and doesn't want even when she doesn't have to be there.

But this is a Beyonce sub-forum, it's an outlet for me as a fan to air my sentiments concerning her.
It's not about me knowing it much better than her. Im just trying to be logical. I do not know of any legends that managed themselves. Bey tried it and we all saw how that turned out. In future it could go both ways
A) Bey learns from the past and manages herself better
B) she learns from the past and hires an efficient experienced professional manager.
For the reasons i mentioned in the prev. post. I think (hope) she goes with (B) it seems some peeps are okay with her self-management just bcuz she did it (Yes Men). Nobody's perfect, Im sure you've disagreed with at least 1 of her single choices in the past.

I honestly think that Bey is gonna slay the music world with the "5 era". I think that there are many positives that we can point to already.
She's stepped her social game up. The world literally waits with baited breath for tumblr pics and goes nuts when she tweets.
She's constantly been seen at high profile music events and the reporters keep her name in the press, above the actual headliners. (for M.I.A.., all people wanted to know was, would she perform with Jay). (For Jay's London leg of the Throne tour, her simply dancing in the mosh pit got press for days). Hell, if the world can ooh and ahh over a House of Dereon ad campaign, when they love to rip H.O.D., then you know she's gonna takeover.
Radio is playing her song DFY into the charts, without an official release. (the world is literally ready)
She's currently recording with the biggest and best producers and writers. Hell, even a simple cryptic twitter message from a producer, gives us life.
From Blue, Jay, POTUS, FLOTUS, People mag, US Weekly, to Sia, Trey, Adele, Nicki wanting to work with her, her profile is the HIGHEST it's ever been.
Bottom line, I believe Bey is going to be just fine, regardless of who her manager is. If she can inspire the world to post billions of messages, then the possibilities for the "5 era" are limitless. The WORLD is ready.
I think she's learned from her mistakes and I also believe that she isn't afraid to seek advice from others. I truly believe she's going to exceed all of our expectations and the revolution will be televised!
