But GaGa got a follow-up hit, & that is what matters. Even GaGa's flops can manage to peak in the Top 10. Her Top 10 streak is still alive.

And out of all those singles, only Rolling In the Deep & E.T. have sold more. Both are monster smashes, & the two biggest singles of the year. On the Floor both did not peak at #1, & has not vastly outsold Born This Way. It won't be ahead in sales by millions of copies at all. No shade to Mrs. Lo, but On the Floor is her biggest hit in years, while BTW is nowhere near GaGa's biggest hit in the past 2-3 years.

This is just U.S. success-wise, of course.

Well, Firework was released 4 months before BTW and it's still selling more than BTW without even the 4th of july sales! C'm ooooon... I think BTW is the lowest selling single of those mentioned, or it will be in a few weeks when JLo will get those sales! I'm sad TEOG isnt selling that good

Firework was a mega-smash. Born This Way was not, even though it spent more weeks at #1. BTW just proves that how many weeks you spend at #1 no longer really proves how massive your single was.

The Edge of Glory needs something, right now it seems to be just floating along.

GaGa's had bigger, better smashes anyway.

I don't know tbh. The F.A.M.E. era is very confusing. I hope not, because I don't see it doing amazing. Not while the potential huge pop smash Beautiful People is lying on the album. I actually have already heard Beautiful People on an urban station.
