Oh, and I'd just like to say (since I've been keeping an eye out on this thread for a while now, and I wasn't able to respond then, as I was not a member of ATRL at the time), that it was not very nice to see some of you (not all!) criticizing Nicole's performances of "Baby Love" during the HNIN era. I cannot find the original posts, but anyway, I don't think those of you who had made the comments even realized the extent to which bulimia affected Nicole's vocal health. Vomit is ACIDIC, and when it is regularly passing over the vocal cords when one forces themselves to vomit, then the tissue is BURNED. Despite what was going on, physiologically, which had resulted in inconsistent vocals, Nicole was still able to give some incredibly impressive vocal performances during the PCD/HNIN/DD eras. Rather than knocking her down, I think that we should commend her for fighting through this horrible illness, performing her heart out, and risking the possible loss of her voice just so that she could continue to reach out to her fans through her music. Being a singer who suffers from bulimia does not sound like a walk in the park to me...there is a lot that goes on within the body! When the vomiting occurs so frequently, how does the body (i.e. the vocal cords) even have time to heal? Of course, she sounded better performing "Baby Love" during the KL era...she had recovered quite a bit!
Another thing...I used to be just as impatient with Nicole and her team when it came to releasing new music...but since then I've learned to count my blessings, and being able to have just one album by Nicole as a soloist is one of those blessings. I'd rather have that one album than Nicole not being able to sing at all because of bulimia. The new music will be released when it's released. What can be done? Both Nicole and Melissa (and probably the label) know how much the fans want new music, but it's still not out yet, so we'll have to hold on.
I'm not scolding anyone at all. That's not my style. We're all adults (I believe?), and even if we weren't, we're still all on the same level. I'm just trying to get some of you to view things a bit differently. But, it's all about whatever works for you. Do you

I'm sure Pretty would slay UK and can get that number 1 she needs easily if she releases it as a single. I've said this before and I still think the same.
Btw, it's a shame that there are no untagged X Factor UK promo pics this year Do they really have to tag them that awfully?

I don't think most of us are really impatient, but more fed up with being left out in the dark. Something is fishy. There are enough of Nicole's peers on her label, in a worse postition than Nicole career wise, who easily release their albums. And Nicole's releases mainly have pushbacks and uncertain releasedates. I guess people would be more calmed down if we would get a clear "it will come when it will come, trust no rumours, this is false" kind of things. I think the main problem is that things are so uncertain with her career wise. I think every single one of us is happy and blessed with Killer Love, but crucial mistakes get made again and again and certain things are too flawed too take serious during the last years.
I hope you get what I mean! but you made good points

yeah Pretty could still do well, especially in the UK, but I don't know if I want to see it as single at this point

did you see our Melissa mess?
I'm a nurse so I have some knowledge about bulimia, yeah it's not easy cause it's mental. I actually liked her baby love performances it was just the AMAs one that was so cringe worthy. I felt so embarrassed for her.

I liked the baby love performances too,for me though the only one that I saw that I didnt like was the one where she performed with will.i.am (cant remember where) she just looked so uncomfortable.
I get the feeling that Nicole does want to release her music sooner but there must be something stopping her from doing that, but people mistake her for going on holiday as not caring about her music. She obviously does care about her music otherwise she wouldnt be recording alot.I hope she pulls a shocker on all of us and releases the album sooner rather than later, although I would think her best bet would be to release a single during x factor and then maybe midway through the live shows she could release her album as there will be more hype.

I don't think it's that people think she doesn't care, it's more like I mentioned earlier that we don't get any head ups. Some studio updates or a simple tweet now and then about the album process, would keep people involved. I don't blame her copletely on that though, but I ca see why it frustrates people

Yeah I see exactly what you mean.Theres alot more pressure on artists to keep their fans up to date on what theyr doing, but Nicole doesnt really do that. She posts on whats she's doing personally but nothing much career wise.I cant even remember if she was the one who tweeted the release date for Boomerang,I dont think she did at all :/
