Objectively the best producers, their best efforts, and the best monetary compensation went into this album's production job. Therefore it, objectively, most likely leans to "well produced" than cheap or inadequately mixed. Objectively.
I believe that the haters would cling to the "hype, brand, gimmick, surprise release" thing for every album now. They just can't even put out any concrete, sane reasons.
If any other artist would've recorded this album it would be in the mid 70's with that sound quality what's going on
oh ffs. i don't even like the album that much and even i recognize that every single song here is arranged and mastered to near perfection and you can notice the quality with even the shittiest laptop speakers, let alone with beats studio. so you've either downloaded some bootleg 192kbps mp3 version or you're just plain bitter over this metacritic score. get over it.
