Rage Against The Machine's "Killing In The Name" sold 502,569 copies in one week

So yeah, the UK's are aware of Digital Music Downloads, so the sales of digital songs are pretty high, compared to other countries.

those are all anomalies though, you don't get those kind of sales in just any old normal week.

92k for a number 1 is impressive, not amazing, but considering this is his debut the sales are very strong.

UK number one sales tend to be higher than those of the US if we look at it on a per capita basis.

The US equivalent of 92k would be 460k (92k x 5)
