searched this problem on Google and it seems most people who are having a similar problem had a extension called "Celebrity Toolbar" or "Family Toolbar" installed. If you have that, maybe try uninstalling that?
If that is not the problem, and you also seem to be having a lot of banner ads popping up when visiting any site, you may have malware causing this problem.
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/foru...p/t300341.html seems to be the only result on the Google search that addresses the malware concern, so I don't know how likely it is that you have this malware.
