Most pedophiles have a look about them, like Brett Cowan. Actually Brett and this guy have a lot in common, both shouldn't have been released back into society.

I'm a huge believer in 'you choose how you feel / your emotions' and think the best way to deal with this situation is to choose not to care. I'm not saying it will be easy... I can't even imagine how you're feeling but if it helps even a little realize your priorities/the things you care about most in life and focus on them. Choose to place more importance in them than your ex whom you haven't spoken in ages.
