She has several radio deals (according to someone on UKMix).

The song sounds like a Back to Basics demo at best, so I don't really understand any of the hype.

Yes. Promotion is the key to success for Kylie. People need to know she's got new music out as her name itself does not sell (look at her iTunes positions). All The Lovers did well because it received promotion. Timebomb reached the top 10 in more countries than Into The Blue because it had a banner.

Never mind the promotion, the song itself is also flawed to an extent I believe it limits the songs' commercial abilities.

This just doesn't feel like a lead single from Kylie. Even the video was good but not amazing like some of her past videos.

I agree about ITB not feeling like a lead single, lyrically it's a great lead single, but I think it would have worked better as single #2 or #3. Let's see what else is on the album though, for all we know this could be the best

Tbh Timebomb's video was waaay better than ITB's. Also as a song Timebomb is the superior one, I wish she'd keep that to album and released ITB as a buzz single.
