I just love how Bey has put everyone in their rightful place. Like, it was cute how she gave everyone else time in the spotlight. But she's just on another level from the pop girls. To even lump her in the same group as Brit, Rihanna, Gaga, Katy, Ke$ha, Pink, etc. is insulting.

It's just such a good feeling to reread these numbers over and over and over again after soooo many called beyonce a has-been, a flop, somebody who's irrelevant. We had to listen to this crap for the past 2 and a half years, trying to explain that Beyonce is more, that she is a true living legend. Now, look at the numbers and be in awe, cause the Queen is nowhere to be irrelevant, a has-been nor a flop now. The Queen just changed the entire game!

QUEEN! I don't think you all understand what the implication of this actually is, though. Bey just proved that all the desperate promo in the world doesn't matter if quality music simply isn't there. Other artists can act like attention *****s all they want, but what Bey just proved is that just because you have millions of people talking about you childish attention seeking antics doesn't mean you actually have any kind of impact or respect as a musician. Wrecking Ball didn't become a phenomenon because people were so moved by it and they wanted to support Miley as an artist, it become a phenomenon because people wanted to mock it, which is reflected in Bangerz's opening numbers. This goes to all the other girls as well, not just Miley.
And as much as I love Gaga, and as much as I enjoy ARTPOP as an album, Bey's record is much more consistent in quality and shows the artistic side to pop music much better than ARTPOP does. And what Interscope/Lady Gaga don't seem to understand is that Gaga can have all the staged Twitter meltdowns she wants, or can be a part of as many media circuses as she wants, but just because people are talking about her doesn't mean people are listening to the music. Bey made a record that speaks for itself, she didn't turn it into a spectacle, she just released high quality music and proved that if one manages to cultivate an image that resonates positively with the general public, and if one doesn't resort to cheap antics, one will be respected as an artist and will reap the rewards of that respect.
