I told Katie she could just send in a ranking, but she must just be busy, like she said.
I think we've delayed things enough, I'll get the ball rolling now.

Wait, that intro! Very nice touch! I also felt it added the "remix" aspect to the genre, which is quite important in the EDM world. Overall, this is a pretty solid trinity, although beginning-to-end it is minorly bland. The "Perfume" track definitely made it a good one, though. Needless to say, great work, guys!

It's a little too predictable with Krewella and Calvin, when I saw this I was expecting like Tiesto or something but the songs work. Alive is a great song, one of my favorites from this year. Ellie has a voice for this type of music so I'm actually glad you guys picked his collab with him. The Perfume song was totally unexpected, but in a good way. Overall I think you there was a good direction of sound, but I was hoping for more traditional EDM, you know think of why they would play at Electric Daisy Carnival and the like. Nait your song actually ended up sounding more EDM then the other too haha.

Designing this title, I was expecting an entry of Kelly Clarkson, Avril Lavigne, Coldplay... you guys took a lot of risks, ones worth taking. These songs are from different eras, cover different topics, sound different and are all seemingly representative of the Pop/Rock genre. The only standing issue may be the seemingly random nature of the trinity - they don't connect as well as I'd like them to. Either way, this entry was great. Nice work!

Very good choice of picking Bowie, because he's a huge part of Pop/Rock history. It's added a very good throwback feel to your trinity. This genre could have gone in so many ways and I like how you guys went in this way. Return To Me felt like the odd man out however. So it really kind of Messed with the momentum of it all.

Stellar entry, and I really enjoyed how you guys went through these different points in the music. Specially starting out with Nas and then going to Missy and ending with Kayne was a good touch, as a genre that constantly evolves it was perfect that you guys did that, it added to the overall package to your trinity. Fantastic job.
I literally Googled to see if I was delusional or if that was actually JLo in that Janet video. More to the point, this trinity blew me away. From a R&B/Soul CLASSIC actually about moving social issues surrounding those involved in the genre, to a PERFECTLY fitting romantic soulful jam and then to a Grammy-winning ballad about loss. I really just loved it. Through the songs you also captured other important parts of the genre, like the people involved in the Dance With My Father video and the Marvin Gaye co-write. I'll stop now. Just... great work.

Another interesting entry, and you guys did it really well, because R&B is such an old genre, "Dancing In The Streets" was a great way to start your entry. Then diving into Janet's sultry song was incredible. Dance With My Father was a great way to end it, because I think that overall is the way people hear when someone says Soul and R&B. Good job guys.

Death at y'all making country about alcohol I mean, not that it's very untrue or anything. I think there could have been a few more bases covered... these are kinda just random songs, though the storyline is cute as usual (I'm looking at you, Huga )

You guys always have such creative entries so I was wondering what you three would come up with, and I really enjoyed the little movie esque dialogue. Really nicely done. For the songs, they kind of stayed in the so-so category, while it does hit county , I wish you guys would have dived into different areas as well, because country has a long history and so many changes it would have been great if you put that in your entry.
Let's just hope Katie does her usual unique style of ranking
I was so pressed for time this week I wish I had longer because I was actually going to use a song from the 90's which has an old-school dance/euro-house kind of feel, I didn't think about it until the challenge was already finished

Ugh same. Except I had plenty of time to think about it and just didn't use it wisely .
It's alright, if we survive another round I count that as a win for all of us! We did well this round given our circumstances
