The Charm School winner should be likeable and well received by their peers. To see how you get along with others, we matched you randomly with another student and asked you to spend some time getting to know one another. Your assignment was to submit something that would show us what you learned about each other and how you got along. The form that this could take was entirely up to you, and you were asked to show creativity. Let's see how the faculty ranked you!

Which means, sadly, TheSeenScene and Theo are both out in this double elimination. Originally, I had planned to double evict an entire partnership, but with how the challenge unfolded, I think you'd both agree your partners deserve to stay for their hard work and not giving up.

To the two of you, I say this - you both were frontrunners in my eyes, and for your own reasons faltered in this challenge to the point where you didn't really participate. I could have seen either of you winning this, and badly wanted to keep you in, but the fact remains that I couldn't keep you around while cutting someone else who actually put in the work.

However, I was (and still am) so so pleased to see you both come into this thread after your absences, apologize to me and the judges, and speak so highly of your partners. I think in so many ways that shows how wonderful people you both are, and makes me think maybe you've already mastered a huge part of Charm School despite not winning. Please believe me when I say I think highly of you both, and am really actually sad to see you guys go.

Trust me when I say I wanted to keep them! But I thought long and hard and realized this was what had to happen. It wouldn't have been fair to eliminate one but save one, given that they both were in the exact same predicament. As for saving both of them, I just worry it would send the wrong message - that even if you don't do the assignment, all you have to do is say sorry and you'll stay in the game. As touching as their apologies were, I'd have a really hard time keeping them around while having to cut someone who actually did the work.

It was a very hard decision, and not one I wanted to make. I just felt it was the right thing to do though. I hope both of them understand my thinking behind it.

I agree with boyonce though, it wouldn't have been fair to say, Marooner, when he was regularly active and vocal about his dilemma and still managed to pull through submit a creative entry despite his shortcoming. And with this particular challenge, you kind of need your partner's cooperation to pull off a good entry.

Theo and Scene fortunately did engage with their partners initially, but imagine if they didn't at all. Imagine if they didn't, yet their partner stayed vigilant and continued to stay vocal about their abscene and muster up an acceptable entry, only to end up getting eliminated. That's the real here. It's a unique case though, two of contestants with the most potential ended up not coming through (one deliberately, one not) while their partners did. Had their partners not submitted anything as well, maybe it would've been a different story, who knows.
