I just rethought about this thing. She is mature actually, I guess people just don't like how she acts. I tried to understand it slowly, and finally I get what they mean. It's just how she act in media. True that she doesn't need to air her dirty laundry, but she just need to let loose, stop being a robot for the press. Like how she did with press back in 2007. People (the general public, they do pay attention to her actually) is annoyed with the robot Taylor. She only needs to be herself, that vulture piece from nymag actually explained the people's complain way better than any other articles I've read about this topic. Only thing to fix, and all gonna be good. The single-release is also one thing tho.

I'm listening to Long Live now and it's such an amazing song. It deserved to be a single tbh. BTW Does anyone remember when the 1st listened to Speak Now? I remeber listening to all the leaked songs on yotube like 1 or 2 nights before it was released and being like "wow this is amazing" When Speak Now was released I ran straight to the shop's as soon as it opened in the freezing cold just to buy it and just played it on repeat

I remember finding out Mine was rush released and bought it without hearing the preview; I laid on my bed with my headphones blasting and just closed my eyes and took it in.

I didn't listen to the songs when they leaked, but I did listen to the 30 second previews of them all. Well, I did blast the Sparks Fly leak one time while I was home alone because I figured I'd already heard the original live version... Of course, I bought Mean/ Speak Now/ Back To December as promo singles and played them all a hundred times the first week

When the album was released, I bought it immediately on iTunes and listened to it that night; then I had mother dearest buy me the Target deluxe on her way home from work that day

I actually agree with most of the stuff in the original post... Although, I actually thought there was a bit of subtle autotune in a few Speak Now songs...

I wouldn't mind seeing her ditch Cover Girl, but I don't exactly have a problem with the endorsement either; it's just sort of there.

The one thing I would completely disagree with is his statement that Mean is the most popular song from the album

man, that was a strange gig to walk into.

my oldest son had a camping-birthday about an hour and a half out of town. got the email from her and what she was thinking. honestly, i knew only her cross-over singles at that point. and, that she did marker tats of lyrics from our invented song, 'mixtape' on her arm in a video of hers. so, she must be an actual fan. that isn't a song anyone has talked to me about since the internet community threw it around after an early version i played at that solo modified gig.

how big of an asshole would i be to say no to someone who really likes our songs and just sold out two nights at an arena in AZ? thats a bigger play than what coldplay has done here to date, mind you. and when am i ever going to get the chance to rise from under the stage on an elevator with smoke and **** going everywhere?

drove an hour from camping (totally dirty) with a guitar to the arena and showed up while they were soundchecking middle. sounded pretty good already. didn't know why they needed me, to tell you the truth. just plugged in my guitar and rolled on stage. met taylor. pre-show, just all-kid. obviously has her **** together. but just a girl with a guitar in a band is what i thought. that is, if you didn't look around at what metallica's road crew had been setting up all day.

jesus. what an insane show she put together. rapped out with her dad for a while too. he was breaking it down how the business runs with her. she is her own vertical monopoly on most of what she does with music. she owns her own bus company which does her tours and off-cycle gets rented out. she is her own management company and booking agent. and merch company. and merch fufillment company. whoa. she's 21? and, no booze backstage. totally sober environment. everyone is human of course but i believe you will not see her ****ing this up like a lot of younger pop sensations do.

anyway. it was a blast and for some reason she thanked us at an awards show recently. no idea why but it was nice of her. giving back to the scene, man. i suppose.

she should cut a side proj album of way-out there indie stuff. i think she has it in her.

Gosh, I'm listening to "Dear John" and it's just sooooo....amazing. Shame--it was never a single. I think if could of done well on the charts. Well, country charts. I'm not sure about Top 100. "Someone Like You" charted, so maybe it could of had a chance. With a radio edit and a great video.
