New Adele Album in 2013? We Think So

We're going to stick our necks out and make a prediction; 2013 will be a huge year for Adele.

With a performance at The Oscars confirmed, where she'll belt out the fantasic Bond tune, Skyfall, a strong chance of winning the award for Best Original song and a healthy baby boy, all sign point to a magnificent year ahead.

The Academy confirmed Adele's performance, tweeting: "We're so excited to have Adele perform Skyfall on this year's #Oscars, we made a gallery dedicated to Bond Theme Songs."

What's more, the confident singer has been fairly quiet leading up to the recent James Bond collaboration, and she could well have been working on new music, and if she has, we'd expect to see an album announcement by the summer.

"It's an honour to be nominated and terrifyingly wonderful to be singing in front of people who have captured my imagination over and over again," Adele has said of performing at the Academy Award ceremony. "It's something I've never experienced and probably only ever will once."

The 24-year-old singer let the first name of her child slip on Monday after wearing a gold necklace bearing the word Angelo and now the full moniker has been revealed as Angelo James Konecki.

A source told The Sun: "They've called him Angelo James. What a lovely name. They wanted to keep their choice quiet until they were ready, and wearing the necklace suggests she is now. It is only a name."

New album, please!

I was at a bookstore today waiting for some friends to arrive and they were playing 21. I listened from Rolling in the Deep till Set Fire to the Rain. My friends got there and I didn't want to leave cause I was jamming to SFTTR. They let me finish listening to the song, but when I said they were playing the whole album and I wanted to listen to it, they almost kicked my ass out of the bookstore.

OMG, I was at a book store and they played one track from 19 in there too! I can't remember what it was...

It sucks that I didn't know ADELE before September 2011 - I missed so much!
I missed the excitement of getting new music by ADELE, her tour, her TV and radio performances/interviews etc.

You can't deny that it's a bit boring to be ADELE fan when she doesn't do anything.


Just the thought of new music, new music videos and new performances on TV and radio is so exciting to me. I never thought I would stan for someone, but ADELE has got me obsessed.

I can so imagine my hands shaking minutes before her new lead single get released.

Don't worry I only got into Adele a little earlier before you which was around May-June. Imma be so pumped up when her lead single comes out I was already so happy when Skyfall came out ....

I know I bought her album a few months after it came out, so it feels like forever since we've had new music from her
