And now, my first ever tournament has come to an end. Despite there being TONS of messes and incompetencies on my part, causing the game to have a couple bad bumps, the experience was generally very enjoyable. It is fun to host your own game, despite the pressures of having to hold up to people's expectations and needing to make sure the game operates smoothly in a just manner.
I think this finale was a really tough fight. It could've literally be anyone's game, but as a result of 9 votes, this is the outcome. But this does not in any way diminish anyone's efforts, because I believe everyone here really tried their best. And indeed, that's why they're in the top 5.
I wanna thank everyone who participated and who voted. Without you guys, this game wouldn't have been possible. Getting 30 sign-ups was just mindblowing, like, I wouldn't have imagined a brand new game by me could've gotten such an initial response. And of course the voters, especially those who aren't a part of the game or were eliminated, I cannot appreciate enough your interest in the game.
Lastly, I just wanna apologise for all the mess that was caused. I hope that never happens again if I ever do get to host a game again heh.
With that said, this may be the first and last tournament I'll ever have, cuz life. I hope to still be able to be alongside some of y'all in other games and tournaments here for the next couple months till I really have to say goodbye. If anyone would want to do another season of this game, go ahead!
