The album got like $1-2 dollar discounts. Stop acting like it was discounted $10+ dollars.

That's pretty good. She's bound to sell consistently with more singles.

She gonna get dragged to hell but this is an improvement over her last era so I see nothing wrong with the numbers. Constantly improving, even if it's little by little is not a bad thing at all.

Well the initial predictions were 270k. But let's not get ahead of ourselves, these are not official numbers. It will be around the same figures, but let's wait until SoundScan releases the official numbers before we say it didn't match predictions. Let's hope it's over 290k.

And people made fun of Miley while she only sold 10k less without having the fastest selling single ever
Anyway congrats for that #1 regardless and Miley holding on to #2

Does anyone have actual SoundScan numbers? I don't trust a 'power index' to be 100% accurate.

It didn't have a full week of sales though? It could've reached the 300k mark.

She really tried her best. It's sad to know that she can't even open with 300k.

Epitome of an artist with little to no star power.
Jesus.

Not to mention TD was released during the dog days of August and didn't have Walmart TV commercials. She'll keep selling well but there's no denying it: after the hugeness of the TD era, this is a disappointing opening.

What?

Anyway, decent numbers. I'm pretty shocked it did not even do 100K more than Teenage Dream considering how much bigger she has become, how huge Roar was, how well her promo singles have done and how big her promotional campaign was. Still, almost 300K is very respectable for a pop album.
