It's never fun when you have to face enemies using 4 Hanzos or Mccrees
Then go to competitive. Quick play is supposed to be like arcade style. anyone can pick who they want to play. That's the point its more casual. By the way 4 hanzo's or mccrees would be so easy to beat
I'm really glad about this change to quickplay. I'm not the best at the game and competitive is a bit too much for me. But this change will help filter out the trolls and make quickplay a nice balance between really casual fans and people like me who want to play seriously but aren't good enough to really go full competitive.
Quick Play isn't for people who want to play serious. It's a quick match that's essentially allows you to practice any character you want and earn experience. If you want to play seriously, go to Competitive.
It would've been much easier to add an "unranked" option to the Competitive tab for people who say they want Competitive practice.
Now every one is going to leave the match if they can't get their main(s) especially when Sombra releases next week.
I'm against the quickplay change. Quickplay isn't competitive, it's suppose to be casual and fun. Plus, hero stacking happens like 10% of the matches I get into. This change will make Quickplay less fun and more serious. On top of that, people will leave when they see the hero they want to play as taken, which will inevitably happen (specially first week of Sombra release) because leaver penalties in QP isn't as serious as competitive. I know that there's a separate mode for "no limit" games but that mode is buried under a different game mode category and it encourages hero stacking, rather than have it as an option like QP now. Also, separating your player base will not work. I'm looking forward to see this backfire with everyone leaving and longer queue times.

Yeah, it'll be easy if only my teammates know how to counter-picks
And it'll be perfect to train a la competitive in qp then because no hero stackings
Thank god for the non-stacking quickplay. It´s just so annoying playing with/against 2 or more of the same heroes every 5 games or so (yes it´s that common from my experience). I just want to play the best I that can in quick play since competitive kinda sucks ass playing solo queue while paired against a 5-6 group teams. I ain´t got time playing against 6 bastions/törbjorns/mesi/winstons while being the only one willing to change the hero for the sake of countering them. Stacking heroes are also a bore playing against them, like you literally set yourselves to lose if your going to play against them without any communication of your random team mates (which is common in quick plays).
Q: "Have you forgotten about LGBT characters?"
A: "There are definitely LGBT heroes, there are multiple. We want these stories about character's relationships, not only in romance. But we want these to shine in these stories. We'll have a story coming out soon that might address this - not BlizzardTM soon, but soon. But to reiterate this, this is important to us."

I'm still waiting for D.va to come out as trans, that ***** is NOT fooling me.
1 in every 4 games I've played recently in QP have been troll teams so I am TOTALLY for the limit. As someone who can get work done with like 9 characters, this won't inhibit me at all.
Now people are going to have to finally try new characters.
