with as many as 24 points higher than "Where Have You Been"
Another example is "Born To Die" by Lana Del Rey
It ranked #8 with 40 listeners on the group chart
but ranked #96 with only 7.5 points on the ATRL hot 100
so the Last.fm Group chart data doesn't weigh that much sometimes, right?
I'm a little confused

It depends on the number of listeners.
Let's say, if a song somehow ranks in the last.fm group with
250 listeners, it will debut #01 on the Hot 100, (something that won't
happen). So if 1D had half of Rihanna's listeners they will chart
lower than Rihanna; but on the countdowns and Billboard, "What Makes
You Beautiful" is higher than "Where Have You Been", also, in the 1D base they're
making an "Award Show", and the base has been updated like crazy, so they
gain as many popularity points as Rihanna.
In the case of "Born to Die", the song doesn't appear that much on the
countdowns anymore, people have got over it already, they are talking more
about "Blue Jeans", so she only has the Streaming points (the last.fm's).
And 7.5 doesn't mean
points, that means that 'Die' got the 7.5% of the points
the #01 song (in this case "Call Me Maybe") got in the week.
I hope I made it clearer.
