TRL & VH1 Predictions Scores (1985)

Because it makes it a lot easier for me when the game is ending at the end of December. 25+ people don't need to be predicting when the game is wrapping up. It's pointless so yeah, I don't have enough time as it is! NOW we can delete the posts.

The main reason is because you don't have enough time to count the scores for 5-8 more people? That's not a fair reason. (I swear I'm not giving you BS, this is just for those trying to understand.)
How about this:
Is this kind of like a "battle of the champs?" (or whatever you could call it pertaining those near the top of the scoreboard?)

The Top 20 predict because everyone else is so far behind. No one says you can't predict, just don't predict in that thread, and don't ask anyone to count them.

I wasn't playing last December, I came to this game ~ I think ~ Late January / February this year. Don't get emotional, we're trying to understand why this rule/situation is implemented.--And so far no reason has been given, just an excuse.
Besides, December has the fewest shows in the calander year. (And a large empty time frame around x-mas from what I remember.) If you or whoever is able to count the scores on any other month, why can't you count this last one? (Besides the "I don't have any time" excuse.) Why can't they still be on the scoreboard even if they are not in the 21? And besides you, who says we can't change "the way it's been?"
Anybody else care to explain besides the score-counter?

Dude, I'm the only one that does absolutely anything for this game except for the few times that I've had to ask ManClub for decisions on this game. I count all the scores therefore, it's only fair to ask me. The game is ending this month, and since it is finishing up, there's absolutely no reason for people that have like 10 points to predict while the Top 12 people have like 4.5K+. If "wasting my time" isn't an excuse for you, then you're an asshole (which I know you're not, Travis), because you don't do it. It's a perfectly logical excuse. I shouldn't have to count for people that have 100 points while ManClub has almost 7,000. Alright?

Even though you didn't call me the name directly, I'm not being an asshole. (this is another sign of you getting overly-emotional once again including "zip!".) I am trying to understand this game, but you cannot provide any logical reason why certain rules are intact and the details that go with them once again. ~ And therefore you still keep these unlogic and unreasoned rules? Why?
As far as I'm concerned, there are PF members who would like to continue playing and being part of the game even if he or she only has 10 points at the time during this month. If this truely kills you (which it shouldn't seeing as you've done most of this for a year + some number of months and both your arms are still attached to your body), then no offense, maybe you need to forward the "duties" to somebody else.---Or ask for help; there are people in this game who are willing to do so in some way.
Now, if this were something such as a year-end "battle of the best" (or whatever you call it when its narrowed down to the top 20/21) that would probably be a fine explanation. (While adding certain details to that phase of the game.) ~ But these personal "I don't have enough time" statements do not count as reasons. --Especially as they self-contradict apart by how many actual countdowns there are in December.--

OK,
To the other people in this game or who have played this year:
There has been no support nor an adequate reason given by Will (or the supposed others, who have yet to come forward) why the top 20 restriction is in place during December. (Aside Will's excuse of time~which can be easily resolved.) Not to mention these December rules are not sanctioned in the rules thread.
Would it be OK if we null the unreasoned + non-purposed rule and allowed those who were outside of the top 20 back in the game immediatly?
If we did this, there wouldn't be a fair way to undo/negotiate the 3-4 countdowns missed already this month so it would be fair for all players. (Unless someone has an idea) If passed, these players would still be able to participate in all future countdowns this month including whatever final countdown-special pds that go on.
Any thoughts about the rule itself or any other rules/guidelines that should be addressed/questioned?

You are trying to come off as the "winner" here (which you are far from), but you failed to come with any reason for the rule. ~ While becoming this board's biggest hypocrite by suddenly calling it a battle of the best as I suggested while you rejected previously. Travis if they truely cared, wouldn't they be posting and complaining about it? Seeing that you are in the top 20, I don't know why you are complaining for other people. I personally don't like the rule, but you're not the mod of this game. If that's the rule....it's the rule. Maybe when Will retires, you can take over and make your own rules okay? Just let it go....Stop complaining for other people, let them do it for themselves.

Hey, Will, are the scores reset every year? I mean, if there is a Predictions award every year, then it would be pretty fair to reset the scores, no? I mean, if they're not reset, then Manclub or someone will win every year.
