ATRL has never once been about anything but pop music and other discussions. You want the vulgar content, there's other sites for that. The staff and the advertisers want a different direction for this site. Feel free to post things like "fist me daddy" but don't be surprised when you're warned since it's literally in the guidelines of what is acceptable, gay or not, the rules apply to everyone.
And if the site loses its advertisers, it basically loses functionality as it cannot operate on a zero budget. It costs money to operate the software and servers. The latter part being more true as ATRL is increasing in notoriety and the incoming traffic is reflecting that.
