He has shown great enthusiasm as to even set up a music studio in his temporary place of residence in Korea. Honestly it's totally possible for 2NE1 to at least have an English single or even mini out by the time summer (and summer sales) roll around. Let's hope for it!

Well they flopped, point blank.
The biggest girl group in kpop has yet to perform as well as WG did chart-wise in the US (with most of their AI and sales coming from radio Disney listeners).

How one promo's an album in America is totally different than Korea.
More time is needed when promoting an album in the US.

Actually, it's a weird kind of paradox. More time is needed in Korea (think of the broadcast shows!) but more individual actions are needed in America (radio, interviews, magazines, a performance if you're lucky, viral marketing).

I think they need to get a Vevo. They advertise most new videos, like The Boys (Who didn't buy our singles).
With their celebrity backing, those fanbases might follow as well.
They need to do an interview with z100, and basically the works.

I'm not too worried though.
All they need is a good hit.

Several K-groups have a Vevo including 4minute so that doesn't do much.

I think it's great Wonder Girls have Billboard on their side as people follow and check their for news all the time.

Some of you need to realize that the version of 'The Boys' that peaked #65 on iTunes was the Korean one

Seriously though, I'm glad that Big Bang is doing great on iTunes, but I'm pretty sure it's not the American public audience that is buying their songs. More like avid fans from all around the world

That's the impressive part. Their album is #8 on iTunes because of their fans. That means they have a big fanbase here.
