I'm glad 4x4 is becoming a hit of sorts somewhere. I am very shocked though that it's doing as well as it is in the Netherlands considering it's one of the few countries Wrecking Ball didn't go top 10 in (peaked at 11) and We Can't Stop only peaked at 48 Plus its making Bangerz chart on iTunes there again.
I've never really given Breakout much of a chance. It's always been my least favourite Miley album by far but I'm listening to it now for the first time in forever and it's actually slaying me so much I don't know if it's just reached that nostalgic age for me or if I really was too hard on it but either way it's much better than I gave it credit for.
I can't BELIEVE Breakout sold 1.6 million off of (essentially) one single that only peaked at #19 on pop radio. Her peers get #1 hits (and #2 hits that are sometimes mistaken for #1 hits) and still only push gold, if they are lucky.
Call me delusional but she could literally milk this era for all its worth and the album could go 2x platinum if she wanted it to. It would just take forever like a mini Teenage Dream.
Oh and she's still ugly for not having 23 on the Deluxe edition.
They could literally milk it til the cows come home. Her sales are dropping like flies though and that's because she has no single out and hasn't talked about the album in forever
4x4 has potential, netherlands is one of her weakest markets i've been told
Plus its making Bangerz chart on iTunes there again.
