It's unfortunate that this is falling as a result of the incident in Connecticut but, in all seriousness, this song has no business being played on radio at the moment. I'm sure it will rebound eventually but I can't see it breaking spin records like it might have without this major setback.
But whatever. It already hit #1 so I don't care that its plays are decreasing.
I looked at that chart update and I almost had a heart attack. I've never seen a song in the top spots have that huge of a decrease. But it makes sense because of the recent events. I don't blame the radio stations that stopped playing it.
