Well I don't mean to say it should've just focused on gore. I guess I just expected worse than what was in the movie, considering the delays, MPAA and the teaser trailer shown before The Visit made it seem like the whole movie was going to be gross out.
The first meal (

) definitely made up. I felt a little sick watching it. I can't believe that even only got the movie an R-rating. The reveal of the skinning was perfect, I don't think it was necessary to show and the suicide likewise worked out.
But yeah, while I'm not trying to sound like a rape fanatic - I expected it with the overly emotional girl. Or at least the main girl, since the blonde ended up not being a virgin.
Idk now I'm not sure how I feel about it, lol. Maybe it was adequate enough.
As for Sky, @Repo the activism line was messy. But overall, she seemed so forced. I didn't expect her to have that much screen time and she didn't need it lol. Like the dinner scene with the dad, she was so awkward.
