I mean, some people in here were saying that his speech made him sound like a stalker. And I did find some of the wording a bit lacklustre (ie: "I bought the house, so now you have to marry me"), but nothing was so bad I'd drag him for it.
I still don't know why this alt-right guy I know still supports Hillary. I mean, I'm not going to persuade him not to vote for her, but he's so contrarily evil about things, is racist as hell, and has an anime avatar to top it all off.
she said it was controversial because he called hillary a "girl" and then went on some rant about it being anti feminist
aka a bunch of ********

ught yall wont make me drag feminism in this holy night, not today satan
Bill's speech was perfectly executed. He's great at relating to Middle America through personal anecdotes, like an uncle or grandfather that everybody feels like they know. It may have seemed to drawn out to those of us that closely follow politics, but I think tonight he reminded a lot of people why they elected him twice twenty years ago. He also helped make his wife seem more real and reminded them all that she has accomplished as a politician over the years as opposed to Donald who's done nothing.
Hillary's life has been so incredible. She's one of the most successful women in history. It's amazing
Every passing day it just seems more likely that generations from now she will be regarded as one of the greatest and most influential politicians in American history.
She'll overshadow Bill the way Bush did his father.

I just watched that last week so it was particularly fresh in my mind.
