It's never too late. Spanish is pretty straight forward language for english speakers, there's some quirks here and there that you have to get used to like subjunctive, indirect/direct pronouns, and rolling your r's but overall it's pretty simple once you take some time to really learn it. Depending on where you live, you can always get practice with native speakers. I spent most of my summer in Mexican neighborhoods and restaurants while speaking with natives and I watched telenovelas which greatly improved my comprehension and vocabulary. It definitely takes time, but you will pick it up. Especially if you lived in a spanish household, your brain will pick it up quickly from everything it observed from your household. Sí se puede.
